Car Audio – Can I connect the front speakers also to the amplifier?
Inquisitive asked:
I have connected the front two speakers to the player and the back two speakers are connected to the amplifier.
I have connected the front two speakers to the player and the back two speakers are connected to the amplifier.
To improve the sound quality of my car audio, can I connect the front speakers also to the amplifier?
Will an additional subwoofer connected to the amplifier make any appreciable difference in sound quality?
Can you use bass guitar speakers in your car audio system?
Bryan asked:
I’ve been hearing people using the speakers from say Peavey, that are 8-ohm 350w, 98db sensitivity, as a replacement for car audio subwoofers. The main reason for doing this it seems is the high ohm and sensitivity, and it seems to be much cheaper. I believe another statement was that you need to get an instrument power amp, instead of a car audio amplifier, so you can get the most power to the 8-ohms. If someone can enlighten me on how all this works out, I’d appreciate it greatly.

Is the market for car audio systems slowing down?
mdntblu asked:
I was thinking about opening a car audio/video store and wanted to know if the market for this type of service is slowing down or staying the same? It always seems like these types of services including offroad truck lift kits, custom cars, etc. is always booming. Anyone in this industry have any thoughts on it?
