you can be proffessional only when you exactly know how it all works – you have to study electronics and audio. after that, you can study about car audio. it is still electronics and audio, but in a specific setup. You can try google, buy some books in audio shops, read some phorums, even good seller has his own discussion about products… It will make you understand. After that, you need few years of practice and collecting some experiences.
The install shop and help them out with easy stuff be around it long enough and itll just sink in.
