Clean them when they are cool and this debris will come right off and you will not jeopardize the quality of the chrome.

It is also important to be sure that they will fit your car. Many people like having bigger tires than the manufacturer supplied them with, so before you spend your hard earned money on new wheels, be sure to know that they will fit in your wheel wells. But most importantly, make selections that actually work with your car. You may not want spoke wheels on a truck or matte wheels on a luxury car. Remember the idea is to make it look better, not to look silly!
