Where to get your new Toyota Camry
Since 1980, japanese auto manufacturer Toyota has manufactured a compact car named the Toyota Celica Camry. The Camry became its own brand in 1982, and through the improvements in the generations, the Camry has been categorized as a mid-sized auto. The brand’Camry’ is actually derived from the japanese word kanmuri, which means’crown.’ The brand also showed how Camry became one of Toyota’s premiere models, as the company has had a custom of naming its primary models after the word’crown.’ Examples of this are the brands Toyota Crown, Toyota Corolla and Toyota Corona, all of which are derivations of the royal accessories. The Toyota Camry is known as a top end automobile brand, such that Camry models are used as executive cars in the East and Southeast Asian markets. It is one of Toyota’s best selling autos in almost all of its markets. In the US, the Camry has solidly been the nation’s top selling auto in the 1990s, though the 2000s have seen other vehicles outselling it.
The Camry is also well-positioned in the Canadian, Australian, and Southeast Asian markets, particularly in Cambodia. However the EU market has been resistant to the Camry’s charms so much so that sales of the Camry in Europe has ceased since 2004, letting Toyota replace it with the Toyota Avensis. The Camry is considered as more executive and less sporty compared to its rivals, excepting its SE or sort trim. The brand has been available for seven generations, excluding the Celica Camry make when it was first manufactured. While the present generation’s wheelbase was redesigned to be longer, trunk space has been reduced. The Camry model for 2010 will incorporate some changes like reworked taillights and fascia, a new 2AR-FE 4-cylinder engine with 2.5 liter capacity and six speed transmissions. This generation is also the first with a petrol – electrical cross-breed version, which is marketed as an environmental-friendly automobile.

The engine used in all Altima models
It is assumed that the Eastern automobile manufacturer Nissan produced the Nissan Altima to continue one of the most successful lines in the company’s history, the Nissan Bluebird, which started in 1957. After the Bluebird was phased off, speculations were high on which line would replace the Bluebird, which many have believed to be the Altima. The Altima is positioned higher than another preferred line, the Nissan Sentra, but lower than the Nissan Maxima re size, power, and luxury. The Altima’s primary markets are north America and the Middle East. Other markets other than the 2 discussed earlier also have the Altima, but know it as the Nissan Teana. Altimas were first assembled and produced for the 1993 model year in 1992. As of the moment, two Nissan plants in the US turn out the Altima – the plants in Smyrna, Tennessee and Canton, Mississippi. The Smyrna plant was first to produce the vehicle, and the Canton plant only followed in 2004 to fill in high demand.
the issue with the Altima is that there have many a lot of manufacturing failings in both plants that have made Nissan do a number of safety recalls after only 2 years when the first Altima slipped off the Smyna plant. Issues on defects still plague the Altima for as latest as 2008. The engine employed in all Altima models is the KA24DE I4 DOHC engine with 150 hp. Transmission is either 4 speed automatic or 5-speed manual. The trim lines for the Altima are the XE ( base ), GXE ( mid-line ), SE ( sporty ), and the GLE ( luxury ). The most distinguishing features of the different trims are manual windows for the XE, power windows for the GXE, mist lights and side skirts for the GXE. Despite safety concerns, the Altima line is still being produced on its 4th generation.
