Category A

Category B
Consider buying a category B at a public auto auction solely for the parts. The components should still be in good shape in these autos. You should make some money off of selling the parts off.
Category C

Category D
These cars can be fixed for less than its market worth. Expect to make a profit if you intend to resell the vehicle at an auto auction or elsewhere.
Category X
These vehicles are usually in pretty good working order and are recovered vehicles that were initially swiped by a carjacker. Because they require little work, they’re easy to resell at a profit in live auto auctions or inside an online public car auction.
So what it boils down to for cars found at a public car auction inside the UK: If you’re not car-savvy and have a high budget, go with category D and category X. Category C is an alternative for those who know vehicles and can do the fix-up themselves at a good price. Category A and B automobiles are shakier and only useful for parts if you’re a true car expert.
